A little politics, LFC, books and random musings about the world.
This is an important point because you see it on both sides of the Atlantic; black and brown children of immigrants doing the work of white supremacy with so much more venom.
The one place "the great replacement" is actually happening: the job of white nationalist simp

Polanski boxing clever to leave Phillips stuttering, love to see it.
Phillips "This is not a country where people get thrown in jail for things they say"

@zackpolanski.bsky.social points out 2,700 people have been arrested for holding signs

And well done to Zack for challenging Phillips smear that 'from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free' is antisemitic

the fake conspiracies are a distraction from the real conspiracies... this is what I found again and again while researching Doppelganger.

And Bannon is doing it in overdrive these days.

It’s white something to see the status quo attempt to normalise peados in order to preserve power.

It’s going to be interesting to see which financial institution Kier Starmer ends up at after his disastrous PM stint.

Why is every scandal existential for Starmer? Because he has actively worked to eradicate his own support base. And that, along with the Mandelson decision, can be laid at McSweeney's door iandunt.substack.com/p/starmers-m...

For years, Starmer's critics on the left have warned that he was trashing Labour values, kowtowing to the rich and powerful while hurting the poor and the living world.
Every time, people here and elsewhere leapt up to call us "closet Tories" and "Reform enablers".
Funny how they've gone so quiet.

Sajid Javid saying he wouldn’t let his own parents into the UK now is top level coonery. Special place alongside the boat for the black and brown folk peddling white supremacist rhetoric.

Some of these tech workers are so ignorant (putting it politely) to the damage the companies they work for are doing.
January 27, 2026 at 6:44 AM
Reminds me of the author of the book ‘careless people’.
I've spoken to hundreds of tech workers at places like Palantir, rank & file + higher up. I only ever met 1 that started his job aware of a moral low shenanigans & not caring. Some grow aware. Most see a good mission. Mobilizing tech workers, a strong labor movement could move the needle

And Labour are helping pave the way to it.
Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power

This moment in history provides us with incontrovertible evidence that all the conservatives who claim to be extremely devoted to freedom of speech and the right to bear arms, and opposed to the encroachment of tyranny, are completely and totally full of shit.

It's all white supremacy and greed.

In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.
