Our club and fanbase went to more effort to keep Suarez at the club than Mo. #LFC

Every socialist idea begins with the same simple truth: humans flourish when we care for each other. Everything else (the theory, the policies, the struggle) is just logistics.

Liverpool haven’t just lost games since September. They’ve lost something deeper.

Simon Hughes says removing Slot would betray the club’s identity, I’m not fully convinced.

My response to his Athletic piece is now up on my Substack.

Slot hasn’t done himself any favours either the rinse repeat of the same things that has led us here. I thought he would get the season but conceding 6 and scoring zero in two, on top of winning one league game since September. That’s sackable for any prem club.

Sarah Hurwitz Profanes the Holocaust
Holocaust education has worked too well for the Obama speechwriter, since when she rationalizes Israel's genocide, "I sound obscene." Maybe sit with that, Sarah

Meanwhile Starmer was frothing at the mouth when Labour politicians stood with the people.
My Transition Co-chair Lina Khan and First Deputy Mayor Dean Fuleihan joined Starbucks workers on the picket line today because making NYC affordable means an end to unfair labor practices and a living wage for our workers. We are their partners in the fight to live in this city with dignity.

I’ve got one last meta product to delete but I’m gonna need folks to move en masse away from whatsapp before I do it.

Zuckerberg ruined both whatsapp and instagram, a damn shame.

Against footballing sides we win football matches. We just can’t hack the set-piece NFL style league. It is what it is.

This is the first time that I have even seen a death toll for Sudan.
“More than 150,000 people have died across the country and about 12 million have fled their homes, creating one of the worst humanitarian crises.”

This is a genocide in Sudan.

The fall of el-Fasher would cement the RSF's control of the west and reinforces a de facto split in the nation.

Football in the premier league is dire. And the whole adapting stuff from the NFL is only making it worse.

It was laughable to leave the stadium and hear Brentford fans moaning about the added time in the game.

This. And it could be said for some of the other new players. Feels like Slot
Is trying to get players to do things that just aren’t their strength ie Kerkez.
I’ll say it again—they just cannot use Mamar like they use Alisson. He is not comfortable playing the ball with his feet, particularly under pressure.
