Can't help but the think of the Geek Social Fallacies here. Too many people get by on being pathetic, sad sacks rather than work on themselves. They really just drag everyone down with them. Nobody is making you sit with the catpissmen of the world.

I think the repurposing of the word “slop” to mean crap/low effort content was one of the most important things to happen in 2025.
Giving it a name means discourse, a line in the sand. We can reject it en masse.
