We're thrilled to have them! "Caleb" made me audibly gasp with the line '...my father, lost to a syringe dangling from his arm like an ellipsis...' and I sat with it for a while.
Thrilled to share two poems in the newest issue of The Maine Review! First one is a new offering from the poems I think will make up book three, and the second is an older persona poem I wrote trying to connect with a poet character from my novel manuscript. I hope you enjoy!

"...Yet I take affirmation / where I find it. Sister, they hate me / like they hate you."

This work of art is a must read.
I'm so pleased to share that I have a poem(!) out in @strangehorizons.bsky.social! "Come Back Wrong" is about bog bodies, transitioning, and what it means to face a future you can't imagine.

Whole Foods workers in Philadelphia just accomplished something huge: they overcame Amazon's union-busting tactics and voted to form the store's first union in over four decades.

Remember that we can always find hope in the labor movement.

Remember folks, what we do to fascists here is BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK

No quote dunking, no debates. Starve them of the attention they thrive on & make it impossible for them to gain traction here

I promise you, once you free yourself from the notion that other writers are your competition and start viewing them as your fellow weirdos who share similar special interests as you, your life in publishing will become so much easier.

I knew this piece about Neil Gaiman was in the works, and still, I felt sick reading it.

I was going through @glasspoetry.bsky.social's archives and clicking random poems. Found "Prayer To Deep Time" by Shiyang Su that way.

The final lines completely took my breath away. It is such a beautiful perspective to have.

Please follow the submission guidelines when submitting your writing! There's no harm in double-checking before hitting submit.

It's a small thing that makes a huge difference. Many magazines will outright reject your piece if it doesn't follow guidelines. Your work deserves to at least be read!

What's an opinion you have that would make a bunch of people angry?

Write it down in a notebook called, "Why would I want to make a bunch of people angry right now?" and then close that notebook and have some tea.

Across all mediums, fuck AI.
