A good example of someone using "economically inactive" to mean "available for work but choosing not to" and forgetting it covers students, early retirees, carers, severely disabled people, parents with very young children etc...
What on earth is this nonsense from a Blue Labour MP?

What, you want a policy targeting zero illness, no full time caring responsibilities, no skills mismatches or career breaks and you think we should heavily crack down on migration until we get there?

Just not serious policy/politics.

I would prefer it if governments could spend more time fixing the issues they and their predecessors have created as opposed to relentlessly briefing against and knifing one another.

Makes NUS seem fucking chill tbh.
I would prefer it if Wes Streeting did not become Prime Minister

Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

God knows how many times this has happened: Zero.

Much like Vance lying about Haitian immigrants eating people's pets, this is 100% racist bullshit being spewed by an unabashed white nationalist.

Congrats to everyone who patronizes the Nazi bar he runs.

The sheer greasy desperation from these bastards that any violent crime is committed by an immigrant so they can continue their grift. Even when they know it isn't true. Foul.
Matt Goodwin attributes a crime that he now knows appears to have been committed by people born in Britain in the early 1990s to "mass uncontrolled immigration"

There is a serious failure in UK govt, politics & media to take sufficiently seriously what Musk said & meant with "fight back or die"

= Violence (interethnic civil war) is inevitable so pre-emptive violence - vs migrants, minorities & political opponents - is necessary to avoid existential erasure
The common sense meaning should make this Elon Musk's "rivers of blood" moment

Though I think he goes further than Enoch Powell in a couple of important ways
Elon Musk spoke by video to Tommy Robinson's anti-immigrant rally in the UK today.

"You're in a fundamental situation here where, whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you," said Musk. "You either fight back or you die."

If you are still on X you are supporting this.
Elon Musk dials into a Tommy Robinson rally to say “whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you, you either fight back or you die”

Musk, who doesn’t live here & and never has, is trying to make people who do fear for their lives. It’s an open attempt to create a culture of fear.

This rises to £7,600 if disability benefits are excluded.
