Transphobes who are obsessed with determining if strangers are transgender are called “transvestigators.” When you see that word, you know that someone is obsessed with other people’s genitals.

We used to call such people “perverts.”

Cis people—if you have ever legally changed your name for ANY reason and you don’t have a passport, get one if you can afford it. The more government ID you have with your name, the safer you are. Don’t think they aren’t coming for you too.

Y’all we should’ve made being trans a religion years ago. You can do all sorts of things to your kids if it’s your religion.

A former French military base, Vauban is a thriving neighbourhood of 5,500 residents connected to Freiburg town centre by bus and light rail. Built in the late 1990s as a radical experiment in low-car living, it forgoes virtually all on-street parking in favour of active, green, and social spaces. 🧵

I want to live in an America that has a living wage for every person

I want to live in an America where you have free speech to express yourself and not be afraid of being put on a list or deported.

I am sick to death of New York City suburbs pitching a fit and shitting themselves in anger over the possibility of paying slightly more in taxes to fund the mass transit system that ensures they can get to work and their homes have high property values
New: NY Gov. Hochul's office has floated the idea of increasing a tax on large New York City employers to help pay for billions of dollars in repairs and improvements to the MTA’s bus and rail systems, three sources told me.

Columbia has a $14.8 billion endowment. They gave up all of this for $400 million in federal funding. And now that they've given all this up, we all know that Trump will keep demanding more concessions. They've sunk themselves when at any time they could have just said... no.
"Columbia agreed to ban masks, empower 36 campus police officers with new powers to arrest students and appoint a senior vice provost with broad authority to oversee the department of Middle East, South Asian and African Studies as well as the Center for Palestine Studies."
