I provide a less than charitable assessment of those who performed at the Riyadh Comedy Festival last month.
Just like her hand-wringing pleading on behalf of Starmer's Labour Party, Toynbee thinks we should support the BBC based on the liberal fantasy of what it's supposed to be, rather than recognising the dismal reality of what it has become.

The BBC has been its own worst enemy. Who's going to defend it at this point?
Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …

I wonder if, after accidentally exposing his dearly beloved Elon as a blustering buffoon with no idea what he's talking about, Joe Rogan will see what's right in front of his nose. My bet is that he'll just keep sycophantically slobbering over Musk regardless.
Rogan, talking about Zohran Mamdani: "What else has he done that makes him a swindler?"

Musk: " Um, well, I, I guess if you say, uh, what I mean, if you, if say, if you say..."

Chuck Schumer wouldn't last 5 minutes if he was challenged in a primary by @aoc.bsky.social. It needs to happen.
7. When a ruling faction looks dead, is cold to the touch, is shut down and disconnected from the world in which living people exist, that probably means it is dead. Schumer, Jeffries and the whole zombie Democrat establishment need to stop haunting the living beings who want to take their place.

Congratulations to @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social on his decisive victory. He has an enormous fight ahead, not least with Trump, who threatened to punish New York if it voted the wrong way. But at least NYC now has a mayor who is willing to fight for them.

This is WHY she was given the Nobel Peace Prize. The cowards on the committee were attempting to appease Trump by giving international recognition and legitimacy to the puppet mascot of his regime change war with Venezuela.
