One of the things prosecutors must show in a murder trial is the defendant's intent. Intent can be tricky to prove, so one day a lawyer or two will thank Pete Hegseth for proving it for them. He's smart that way.

If this is true, those SEALs obeyed an illegal order. A war crime. They are subject to trial at the Hague. This is why senators reminded soldiers to disobey illegal orders.

This is the greater issue than funding tax credits for the ACA. What good does it do to sign a deal with the GOP if Trump is just going to rip it up? That's the real issue.
