Maize is mainly ๐Ÿ„ feed.

Linked to high pesticide useโ€”and damaging soil erosion.

Governments must be honest about the hidden costs of meat.

Really nice thread, giving an idea of the direction a clean European electricity grid is heading towards.

Also makes a good point on nuclear: it can be a good complement to renewables, even if not a good replacement for them.
The past two days we seen something interesting in the European power market: continent wide balancing that is providing security of supply at the lowest prices driven by commercial incentivesโ€ฆ

This example couldnโ€™t illustrate more effectively the costly, inefficient madness of swapping triage by highly trained & skilled GPs with a whole cacophony of unnecessary scans, radiation, appointments & bureaucracy.

If this is really Labourโ€™s vision of the future NHS, itโ€™s wildly misguided.
So this is the new great idea๐Ÿค”

Iโ€™m pretty sure if Sarah had seen a GP she wouldnโ€™t have needed to have a CT scan, no need to speak to the ENT registrar & yes it could be managed in the community

Why does NHS England always underestimate the skills of GPs?
