I feel like people are focusing on the kidnapping of the leader of another sovereign nation and completely glossing over the fact that we also *bombed that nation.* At the very least, people have lost power and cell signal. This is not just abstract political consequence, these are human lives.

Idk that this is woke but I think elected members of congress and their families should not be able to hold individual stocks. They can have index funds but I honestly think anything else can’t help but being insider trading.

Idk that this is woke but I think elected members of congress and their families should not be able to hold individual stocks. They can have index funds but I honestly think anything else can’t help but being insider trading.
Can’t figure out how to sort out the feeling that I would’ve loved my daughter just as much if she’d been any combination of genes and never known the difference, but also feeling like I would literally die if I didn’t have my exact baby girl exactly the way she is.
