Michiganders are sharing their health insurance premiums increases with me… not 10% or 20%, but in one example - $200/month to $2900/month.

Republicans have tried to kill the ACA more than 70 times since 2010, and have never once had a plan for anything better.

Christine Amanpour is likely the best and with factual knowledge.
When you are faced with the mendacity of Trump, Hegseth, & Johnson, it’s pointless to try & get clarity from them.

Go to the trusted sources. If you want to understand how we got here and what Trump & Netanyahu are up to, I present to you she who knows: Christine Amanpour. Breaking. It. Down.

I've wanted to see more of this for a long time. And I'd love to know if there is any longitudinal data that could tell us whether the public has become less informed over the years.
I’ve been thinking a lot about a new kind of polling I’d like to see. We have polling that measures public opinion, which is obviously important, but I’d love to see a little more empirical work on public knowledge: what do voters know about politics and policy?

With great power comes great responsibility. Republicans are in charge right now. They may not have 60 votes, but they hold the gavel, and that means it’s on them to negotiate.

You cannot keep the government closed, refuse to talk, and then blame Democrats for the mess you created.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Every bit of this is a wound you need to feel, like this: “Over time, I would come to see Epstein and Maxwell less as boyfriend and girlfriend, and more as two halves of a wicked whole.” Wicked indeed and anyone affiliated with this pair deserves every bit of scrutiny. Release the Epstein files.
