Such claims are always BS. This is a Farnsworth–Hirsch fusor, a lab demo that can fuse hydrogen--releasing gamma rays but not net power, and is really just a fancy plasma globe. There is no such thing as fusion without radiation--period, but if you don't know science, you'll fall for anything.

There's lots to speculate about here. But Ubisoft did just spin out the big money franchises to Vantage as a loosely coupled subsidiary, taking Tencent and Guillemot's money with them. And Vantage is already worth more than the parent. Which was an obvious poison pill.
Ubisoft just postponed its earnings report and halted the trading of its shares. Unclear why at this point but could indicate a major announcement related to the company.
