When a tool is really useful I dont need convincin I just use it when I need it, need a hammer get a hammer, need to send an email , use email. Modern society is like someone constantly screaming at you how useful a picture of a jello spoon is whilst your trying to butter yer bread in peace.

Ive learned if Im feeling it the next day after yoga class, that counter intuitively, the best thing to actually do is a wee bit more yoga. Ive taken to calling this phenomenon "Hair of the Downward Dog".

It wasn't controversial it was straight up fraudalant disinfo. I will never forget the amount of abuse I got online as disabled person by ppl openly identifying as fine gael members during this period, scum leach lazy not really disabled. The demonisation was the point and fine gael revelled in it.

Funny how there's a pretty consistent editorial campaign aimed at getting Ireland to "pull our weight" in Europe's defence, but there isn't one asking us to pull our weight in addressing our fair share of climate emissions #spéirgorm

Generations denied a normal life course, independance, a future. Massive exploitation, financially, sexually, vids of lads going through doors with freaking angle grinder, knock on effects from mental health, animal welfare, increased domestic violence so these guys can be greedy. Go fuck yourselves.

This sounds like a failure to realise disabled peoples rights as articulated under Article 24 of the UNCRPD.
Oppo politicians really should be reminding the gov that the Irish state will be coming up for review sooner rather than later.
"Now we have our answer. The government is moving SNAs around from mainstream classes to special classes."

This is a model of exclusion instead of inclusion.

Parents, children, teachers, SNAs are being failed by this government.

Join the protest next week Wednesday 25th February, 5pm at the Dáil!

Absolutely! It shouldn't even be a question.
Israel should be excluded from all international sporting events.

In no circumstances should Ireland play against this genocidal and apartheid state.

My organising inspiration for this week is "if you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together." Too often I find people think leadership is standing out front, when usually its the people quietly at the back doing slow sustainable work making sure everyone is else is ahead of them.

Lots of politicians, lots of media discussion about educational supports for disabled children. How many journalists/articles went to a DPO for comment? How many reference the states obligation under the CRPD or frame the issue as rights versus language of 'vulnerability' 'special' etc
