Ive learned if Im feeling it the next day after yoga class, that counter intuitively, the best thing to actually do is a wee bit more yoga. Ive taken to calling this phenomenon "Hair of the Downward Dog".

This sounds like a failure to realise disabled peoples rights as articulated under Article 24 of the UNCRPD.

My organising inspiration for this week is "if you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together." Too often I find people think leadership is standing out front, when usually its the people quietly at the back doing slow sustainable work making sure everyone is else is ahead of them.

Lots of politicians, lots of media discussion about educational supports for disabled children. How many journalists/articles went to a DPO for comment? How many reference the states obligation under the CRPD or frame the issue as rights versus language of 'vulnerability' 'special' etc
