Norway just delivered critical missiles from its own stockpiles to Ukraine

In return, Ukrainian Defense Minister Fedorov offered access to DELTA battlefield data and lessons from modern warfare that no NATO ally can learn any other way euromaidanpress.com/2026/01/22/u...

With new missiles deployed, Kyiv now has sharper tools to intercept threats aimed at its power infrastructure.

This beautiful #Roman enamelled copper alloy flask in hexagonal shape was found in Welzheim.
The small vessel was a product of a workshop in Britain or Gaul and was presumably used to hold perfume.
Dating 2. century AD.

So, what we need is a Big, Confident Airport Book that explains how concentrated wealth is a destructive antisocial force, giving money to poor people improves their lives and the wellbeing of all society, and the only route to civilisational survival is ecological justice?

Great piece on “airport book brain” - the tendency of politicians to swallow simplistic solutions. Latest example the Jonathan Haidt book shaping policy on teens and social media

In Minneapolis, one man knew immediately what he could offer and said “Bring me your clothing”.

The withdrawal of the board of peace invitation to Canada makes it utterly clear even for those who did not read its charter that this is not a coequal cooperative responsible international body, but a body entirely dependent on Trump’s mood.

This isn't retouched or anything? He legitimately went out with that burnt sienna coloring and gigantic hand bruise? And no one in the American press is going to do any investigative work about the fact that he looks like warmed over tofu and is clearly not all there?

books about this era are going to heavily feature the failed Horst Wesseling of Kirk. it was the first place where the regime wanted something, got elite buy-in, and it blew up in their face
just thinking again about how MAGA’s attempt to suppress all criticism of Charlie Kirk created a backlash so intense that he is now probably the most abjectly Internet-defiled person in human history
genuinely Charlie Kirk may have been more degraded and demeaned by the Internet at this point than anyone else in human history
