There was a time when the office of the President of the United States stood as a symbol of integrity.

Leaders like President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama reminded the country what that standard looks like at its best.

Barry Windsor Smith's art always makes me happy - finding this was a much needed lift after a bloody awful week.

I saw the Obamas image the White House posted then deleted.
Disgusting. That Leavitt, regardless, defended.

No one in this administration will ever have the class or decorum of the Obamas.

At the top of the 2nd book it says never before published in book form. Was it a movie, or just carved into stone tablets?

I've seen a couple artists comment that a writer asked them what they like to draw. Makes me happy b/c you will get the artists best work. Sometimes I'm sure you took what jobs you could get like the rest of us. Mortgage payments, college, child expense. Adulting happens. Now you are more free.

Yes. And I like a good story but I read comic books for the combination of art and story. If I wanted just story I would read another book.

I loved to see George Perez draw anybody. His take on Batman felt different than my favs (Aparo, Adams, Breyfogle) but I still liked to see it.

One of the things I like about writer/artists is that they instinctly understand this. Some writers over text the art to make sure "their" ideas are heard.

Just got word that many of my books pictured here have already sold. So I'm packing together a box of signed books - including some rare hardcovers - that I'll be shipping to DreamHaven gratis. So if you still haven't gotten some of my books, watch this space, and 100% will go to DreamHaven.
Today I’m helping out at my job from 20+ years ago, helping Greg & the DreamHaven crew ship books across the country to folks who inundated their webstore after seeing him on TV.

Website is still down, but later try DreamHavenbooks.com for all your sci-fi, horror, fantasy, film, & comics needs!

Using the often disagreeable trope of reincarnating dead characters, but with intention of bringing them back from disagreeable stories is genius. And quietly doing it is just next f'in level. Bravo. Even though that's not what you were doing for.

Byrne's FF, Miller's Daredevil, Perez's Teen Titans defined those characters for me. Byrne's Thing is still my gold standard. But, I loved Marvel Team-up because we got to see Byrne's take on a multitude of characters. Same for Aparo's Brave and the Bold.

Dick's DC office doesn't take voicemail or pick up. Fortunately I saved the phone number for his Chicago office, give 'em a call. Or Fax
