This was the book. I enjoyed it and decided to read the rest of this new series. Rekindling my love of Christie I am currently on a reread (or listen to) of the Poirot books and also am waiting for a hold on the first Miss Marple book.

Agatha Christie was a obsession of mine during my High School years. It went Encyclopedia Brown to the Hardy Boys to Agatha Christie's Poirot series. I've always loved series. My wife got me a book my Sophie Hannah who was commisioned by the Christie Estate to write a new series of Poirot novels.

Reading the Len Deighton Bernard Sampson series was a thrill for me. I'll add this to my future reading list as well.

My mom, sister & I had what amounted to a mystery/thriller bookclub where we would all buy books and inform the other 2 so we didn't duplicate and then all read them. We had hundreds of books in common. Now it's just me and my sister and we don't read as much right now but the tradition continu..
