This time of year…it’s the checkbook.
sometimes a book will devastate you, and that’s okay. much more preferable than feeling nothing.

Currently in a debate with a copy editor who suggests I can’t use the term inflexibility to describe personality disorder because the DSM uses that term and it may constitute copyright infringement.

The irony is not lost on me.

What are people using these days to coordinate recurring meetings for the spring semester?

Mix of individual meetings, group meetings, coordinating shared availability, and preferences?

Any good programs or tips for putting all of that together? Current method is looking at emails and screaming.

Me: My daughter is so sweet she gave our dog Luna a bead necklace. 2 hours, $400, and 1 stomach pump later, it turns out Luna swallowed 30
beads and plastic string.

Journal action editor: yea so you can just ask for an extension on your late review without giving a reason.

So, come join us here! I'll be recruiting a graduate student to the Empathy & Moral Psychology (EMP) Lab during this cycle, to start in fall 2026.

Took the family dog to the vet and they brought her back to trim her nails. Emmy asked me where they were taking her.
Without skipping a beat I said, “to get a pet-icure”.
