🚨 New Feature Alert!

You can now mute and unmute schedules, manually within our app or dynamically with our new schedule mute API.

Muting a schedule keeps it applied while preventing pings from being sent, allowing you to maintain the participant's position once the schedule is unmuted.

I have a joke about EMA but I've already told it to you so many times today
I have a joke about the Poisson distribution, but it’s more of a fish tale.
I have a joke about mixed models, but it’s a bit of a cluster f#*%

Our new preprint shows how to estimate internal consistency reliability in EMA data:

➡️n~1150, 3 months data, 4 scales
➡️6 nomothetic & idiographic methods
➡️2 timescales (4/day & 1/week)
➡️2 languages (ENG vs NL)
➡️separation of between & within person reliability.

What an interesting and rigorous RR EMA study by @drandreahoward.bsky.social and colleagues on drinking motives. So many gems in here!
Excited to share this paper on my team’s EMA study testing differences in college student planned and unplanned drinking across levels of willingness.

This project was a Registered Report (analysis plan) and all code, data, and study materials are publicly available

stoked to share a new preprint led by postdoc Eun Cho and grad student Lidya Yurdum

in a 6-week experiment we randomly assigned parents of small infants to get music enrichment

this caused more singing at home; more singing in response baby fussing; and — best of all — happier babies

Did you know you can also use Inclivio for your non-EMA longitudinal studies?

Send assessments weekly, monthly, yearly, or some combination, and include (only if you want) EMAs within.

Here's how to do that 👇

Using @inclivio.com EMA + Qualtrics to help one of my patients track daily methamphetamine use, reinforce non-using days, and give concise and personalized feedback on using days. Super fun collab with my patient. Here's how I did it 👇

Also, if you're looking for an EMA platform that integrates with REDcap or Qualtrics, check out Inclivio. Adam built it and it's one of the best out there.
This was a super fun project. We used data from my dissertation, collected with my EMA software @inclivio.com. And, best of all, I got to collaborate with two insanely smart psychologists: Max Halvorson (who shared the first-author role with me) and Kevin Hallgren.

Very excited to share psychometric analyses of our item bank for studying psychopathology multidimensionally and hierarchically in daily life.

We hope these will bridge research on dimensions of psychopathology and dynamic processes in naturalistic settings (e.g., complex systems). 1/
