Today we learnt the last remaining low traffic neighbourhood project in Birmingham (approximately 7 yr in the making) has effectively been kicked into the long grass. Shame on the Council and the consultants used. A shambles. It deserves some journalistic scrutiny by @birminghamdispatch.bsky.social

Critically, we also need the public to support actions that enable older people to live great lives without having to drive for when they fail the eye tests. So the public need to get onboard with no pavement parking, pedestrian priority, denser housing, fewer out-of-town shopping centres, etc etc
