It doesn't matter how trans you are, at some point you have, in fact, watched enough video essays about Bloodborne.

cis people pay attention to the transphobia in the jokes you make challenge || it has been 000 days since our last workplace incident

Brb getting this tattooed on my forehead
The audience for trans books is not our enemies, it is our friends, and the hegemonic knowledge constructed by our friends is a propaganda narrative that flattens us and yassifies us into safely positive representation side-characters for cis people’s stories.

I showed up to writing tonight and I'm very proud of it. It's amazing how restorative it can be to work on a long-term project for an hour or two.

Writing a book is fun.

The best way I can explain the current state of american transphobia is that the fascists are throwing a Free Candy For Billionaires party, and they're inviting non-billionaires by enticing them with with a piñata of trans woman they can beat to death if they help throw the party.

A fun fact to consider is that if you ask a trans person how they're doing this week, you actually owe them $10.

As a child and younger person things like Star Trek's "There are FOUR lights" and Orwell's "freedom is the freedom to say 2+2=4" seemed odd to me but it is stark how the basic ability to see and name reality is being attacked so quickly.

It's fascinating, and gruesome, to read the actual anti-trans executive order because it wastes a lot of space to make baseless claims - it's really constructing a fantasy for adherents to inhabit.

Hard to overstate the quality of life change I had when I realized you can flip your prescription bottle lids upside down to not have to use the childproof part

My greatest ever Freudian slip as an adult trans woman was when I was 13 and my buddy Ian burned me a 21-track CD of all his favorite songs and I truly, deeply thought, for two decades, that the chorus to Slipknot's "Before I Forget" was "I am a woman but I am a man"
