I’ve been thinking about these issues of precedence and legitimacy.
What does it come down to—brute force? Rock, paper, scissors? Kings-X?

Could a declaration of martial law be interpreted as an illegal order? Especially since the incidents that triggered the order were intentionally mastered? Could the military determine that action following a declaration is unlawful and refuse to obey? Is the military obligated to comply?
