If I were @schumer.senate.gov, I would not agree to help Republicans fund this regime on the "promise" of an ACA vote at a later date. It didn't work the last time when they promised to fund DC. It won't work this time either. The House won't touch it.

@cnn.com with the most chickenshit headline I've seen in a long time. "Appearing" to close his eyes? Lol. NO, his eyes are plainly closed, for many minutes. If you want hedge by saying his eyes were closed and he was "appearing to sleep" that would be a more appropriate hedge, albeit still scared.

Some say Democrats “made their point” by holding out 40 days. Anyone who has ever had a toddler knows how wrong this is. When a toddler whines to get their way and you ultimately give in, you’re just teaching them that you’ll bend eventually. If Dems cave, GOP learns they can do whatever they want.🤬
