I think it's pretty clear that they want to provoke confrontation, and they want ICE agents to feel tense, frightened, and threatened—antagonistic to the public, grateful and loyal to the administration that "protects" them. They want excuses for violence, and a militia eager to deploy it.

I think we need to start putting quotes around the word Federal until such time as we have an administration that honors the rule of law again.
