Some of you know I've spent time as a video game journalist. In that context I've come across Karl Jobst before. He's someone whose work I respect.

His lengthy exposé on Musk being a video game cheater is excellent.

It also tells you exactly who Musk is. youtu.be/z1ykCc588Zw?...

As they beat the drum of “insufficient evidence” about gender affirming healthcare, you’d think that the trans skeptics would relish the chance to generate more evidence.

Of course, these studies do conflict with their reality—or at least reveal a more nuanced one.

The good news for Trump is major media continues to obscure the identities of his personal attorneys, calling Pam Bondi the former Florida Attorney General rather than a Trump personal attorney, Kash Patel a former Pentagon aide rather than a Trump personal attorney, and so on.

Trump is putting one of his personal lawyers—see below—atop the JAG corps, the lawyers who’ll be consulted when he finally decides to impose martial law.

Coupled with his putting his attorneys atop the DOJ and FBI, this is another sign that when the move to end democracy comes, no one will stop it.

Several others have aptly summarized this. Republicans now get a number where they can call Elon and ask for the law to be followed for things that were cut but which they want back. So Elon is in charge of federal spending. And you can go to him hat in hand.
Like huh it’s almost as if this information is inconsistent with the government’s representations in court that Amy Gleason, not Musk, is in charge of DOGE, and that agency heads, not DOGE, are responsible for the cuts

I wrote a whole book about the first month of the destruction of our government, and will be appending a coda to alert readers to the fact that in the third and fourth months after Trump took office the bulk of the American government was summarily destroyed.
