Wow I wish I had had Alysa Liu's outlook (outcome doesn't matter, nothing to lose) when I was competing. 😭😭 I would have been a lot happier and probably skated better lol

I like that we are allowed to show our skates in competition now. In my day, it was nude boot covers or bust lol

Early in the night, ten hours before the core rose, I photographed an arm of the Milky Way over Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America.
And you can see Andromeda! I have never seen Andromeda before!! (it's the spiral galaxy toward the top left of the frame)

I had to go to Las Vegas for work last week. Then, I did the exact opposite of a work event in Las Vegas and spent three days camping solo in Death Valley National Park. 🌌💜

As a kid in figure skating, I didn't really like pairs. "It's for girls who can't jump" and also "for boys who can't jump" (you need like, one triple)
As an adult who does an aerial art, it turns out I like it a lot! The lifts are amazing!
