Why would you sabotage your own life?

Why set yourself up for chronic illness, endless infection cycles, premature death?

Is putting on a mask in indoor public spaces really that difficult?

Read about COVID, Long COVID, and think. Think hard, because your health depends on it.

I sincerely don’t know why people aren’t physically stopping those dorks. Move shit. Lock doors. Lose the keys. Everyone switch seats. Turn off all the lights. Switch the signs on the elevator lobby. Make the settings all silly. Use a different language. Wear costumes. Fill rooms with balloons

Just finished writing about the Hundred Years War and The Wars of the Roses.
Can confirm.
Dear Modern Humans,

You thought you were so much smarter than people from the Middle Ages. But you're not.

Why do you think the dark ages lasted so long? It was because of greedy, insane despots who crushed progress and dangerous thoughts.

It won't end until you rise up and overthrow them all.

The way celebrities like Neil Gaiman use their fan base as a private army is giving very Medieval English Wars of the Roses vibes.

There's a reason he was so active here. It was to maintain a defensive barrier between himself and his victims.

I got absolutely DRAGGED on this app to the point of not posting on it anymore when I asked Neil Gaiman why he wasn't masking right after he got c*vid.
His fans were awful to me. Their slavish defense of that man was vicious.
The bravery of his victims is incredible. Fk NG and Fk his enablers.

Hey peoples if you are in a house with a functioning traditional fireplace you can increase the ventilation in your home by lighting a fire.
The chimney effect pulls in fresh air. Old air is expelled and it gets hot enough to destroy any germs.
Check the damper first and happy holidays!

I have to go to the dentist next week behold the Nose Mask.
I used a Readimask and surgical tape. It's comfortable and secure.

I also blame media & journalists. Several of us tried to reach out to journalists & media anchors hoping to get health disinfo covered widely exposing the entire network. But they just wouldn't cover it because it wasn't a hot enough topic. Well, now it is hot! I see you posting about it. Too late!

I bought a new memory foam mattress about the same time as I developed severe #ME/CFS. Now I'm wondering if it is making me sicker.

How many of you sleep on memory foam and have you considered that it may be a problem?
April 20, 2024 at 3:08 PM
I know there are many people in worse shape than me but having covid and spring allergies at the same time on top of the normal ME/CFS is making me feel very sorry for myself.

Hey #covidcautious community it finally got us because I couldn't convince my husband that it wasn't safe to be unmasked outside.

What do we do now? Other than the obvious of keeping the viral load down and resting.

I've relented and gone back to Xitter. It's a bummer but it's still the only way to keep current
You can find me @VioletEglantine.

I needed to start a new account which is fine. It's nice to start from scratch.

Wearing a mask is so fucking easy. Where is the floor, if not there? If you’re not willing to do that, what’s the bare minimum? It’s pretty pathetic. Like yeah you’re gonna be a HUGE help! 👍

I can't believe it. 4 days of wearing a neck brace and I can sit up straight for hours at a time.

If I recover from this chronic illness I won't know what to do with myself. The whole thing is shocking and at the same time I'm afraid to be hopeful.

For my COVID-conscious friends: Today is the last day to submit a written comment to the CDC asking for more frequent/less costly COVID vaccine access. It's super easy to do: The link in the quote post will guide you through it!
HEY, YOU. Yes, you there! Do you want to keep access to bi-yearly COVID vaccines (the science says we need a new shot every 4-6 months to keep the protection they offer) open to EVERYONE without a worry about cost? Please leave a public comment for the CDC BEFORE Feb 22. Find out how and where here:
Submit public comment to the CDC: All people need access to updated COVID vaccines at least twice a year
The CDC is accepting public comment for their next vaccine committee meeting through February 22. Let them know that all of us need access to COVID vaccines at least twice a year.
