Man Utd ST holder (W3101), also make the odd away. From Swinton originally but now live in Wales. I mainly use this to scroll on after Utd games as an echo chamber of moaning, mostly about MUFC players and VAR.
Pretty rich from the guy who never actually does his job of being an MP for Clacton.
BREAKING: Nigel Farage calls for an end to working from home and the focus on work-life balance

"People aren't more productive working from home - it's a load of nonsense”

Whatever you do JUST DON’T VOTE REFORM!

I’ve seen this, so you are too. 😳
Good afternoon. Wayne Rooney’s bicycle kick against Manchester City is closer to David Beckham’s halfway line goal against Wimbledon than it is to the present day

“It could take years to restore Brexit losses”

Especially if Farage comes along and tears up the ‘reset’ as he threatens.

Honest to god.. it’s such a tedious, idiotic, resource-sapping mess. There’s really nothing patriotic about it. Prejudice costs such a lot.

Most of our media is studiously ignoring the Epstein links to Brexit, Farage and far right populism. Farage is being touted for No.10. He wants an even more extreme Brexit. A race to the bottom to sell us out to this global network of oligarch crooks.
Why TF isn’t he being investigated and stopped?

Finished #Pluribus season 1. What a show. Unique concept, brilliant acting by Rhea Seehorn in particular and ridiculously beautifully shot.

Made me laugh this. This is basically my job but applied to football. They’ll be an external or in house lawyer in despair that all their hard work and snappy emails they received whilst trying to get everything ready was all for nothing (probably because the docusign email went to a spam folder).

Soz for the other place link. I’m not on it anymore but only place I could find the video. But with the sad news about John Virgo I had to watch this again.

Not amongst United fans as such - but feels like it’s gone under the radar generally about the effect replacing Onana with Lammens has had on this team. Still a lot to prove too of course, but for a young keeper making his PL debut season, he’s been brilliant so far. #mufc
Lammens 2 defeats in 1st 18 PL games

Onana 8 in his 1st 18

So, some old issues still persist which isn’t surprising. But the new signings are making a massive difference. A lot of focus will, rightfully so, be on Cuhna, Mbuemo, and Sesko, but how great is it to have a solid keeper? Immense game from Lammens today.

Still flaws with this team of course (largely pretty poor in midfield without the ball Casemiro aside today) but Christ I will happily take this slightly chaotic approach over Amorim’s plodding stuff we usually got every week.

That ref will still be on the pitch tomorrow thinking the game is still going.

A shame that Garnacho seems to be wasting his talent. Thought he had the world at his feet at United at one point, but he seems to want to idolise everything Ronaldo does - apart from the small matter of all the ridiculous hard work Ronaldo puts into keeping as freakishly fit as possible.

I don’t think this gov has been perfect by any stretch but there is a high degree of truth in this. Anything they do gets spun hugely negatively. Pair that with the amount of coverage Reform get & general lack of scrutiny - I don’t think any Labour PM would survive long in this media landscape tbh.
Virtually every ‘journalist’, every radio presenter and every TV commentator is negative to Starmer and his government. And yet there are lists of good things they’re introducing as long as your arm. It’s a little bit sinister don’t you think?

Keir Starmer’s Labour Government Is Much Better Than the Media Admits
There is a deep disconnect between the Government's actions to improve the country and its standing in the polls, argues Professor Chris Painter

Genuinely scares me seeing the US at the moment. If it can happen there, it can happen here or any other western democracy. Especially here if Reform win the next election. Makes you realise how fragile the whole house of cards is.
