I haven't seen this reported by the mainstream media at all, but the Glazers have been eyeing up a new stadium and redevelopment of the surrounding lands since 2018. If anyone thinks this is Ineos' idea, it looks like they need to dig a little deeper.

Still think a lot about the period when John Terry attempted to sell digital pictures of cartoon apes for real human currency and then, astonishingly, decided the correct follow-up was to continue existing in public life

Home this morning at 1am from 🇪🇬 NYE party, left for work at 7am. My capacity for suffering knows no boundaries. 😂🥴🤪

Sir Jim’s footballing IQ is beyond the level of genius. He was able to predict, before the season started, that numerous teams would drop off and leave a CL spot open for us. We’re in good hands.
🔴🚨 • Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s belief is that the squad as of now, when we ended the summer transfer window is good enough to qualify for the Champions League.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. How about a photo essay on the current state of Manchester United? A thread.

Is anyone ready for the uncomfortable, yet honest, conversation that needs to be had about the marriage-made-in-hell collective that is our ownership group? One group have systematically destroyed this club for 2 decades & the others sometime say the right things but have ZERO football pedigree 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

If there’s one thing I learned from last night it’s that Joao Gomez would make our midfield much better. He’s better than anything we’ve got currently.

Still valid a year later. Stay calm, friends.
Some sage advice fellow Reds: keeping watching and supporting, but emotionally divorce yourself from this team at the moment. Sure, wins don’t feel as great but losses aren’t as bad. It was the only thing that saved my mental health a couple of years back.

I think this squad is allergic to the top 5. How many times have will put in a stinker of a performance when we had a clear chance to move up into CL spots.

Swift Back Down To Earth FC is definitely an apt nickname for this club.
If Manchester United thought they had rounded a corner this season, a 1-1 draw against bottom-of-the-table Wolves brought them swiftly back down to earth.

On the brightside, we would have lost that game last season. 😂😂😂

This is definitely one of those games where we could play for 180 mins and not score. Wolves finally studied the "How to frustrate United" playbook.

Running behind in the follow along: that's some silky smooth defensive work from Heaven. Love to see him growing in confidence

At work again today for the match. This holiday schedule is doing my head in a bit. Will try to catch glimpses on my phone, but I'll probably have to rewatch at another time.

Using up all my chips before they reset. Triple Captain worked well in GW17, Bench Boost not so much for GW18 and fingers crossed for the Free Hit this week.

He then went on to say “That is really important because you don’t need to make everything for the manager because the manager can change, then you need to change everything.”

What does that even mean? Why are we looking for players beyond Amorim? Or am I misreading this quote?
🔴🗣️ • Ruben Amorim asked why the recruitment has been right this year

“I think we are doing things that sometimes I have one idea. Then Jason [Wilcox] and the board has another idea and every decision that we make, we need to reach a common ground.” #MUFC #PL

2025 - a year when football seems to somehow allow things to keep getting worse, despite the game itself often being at its most uplifting - from Palace to Parrott

It was like every great moment had some drab postscript

Does anyone actually know what’s going on with DeLigt? He was only supposed to miss a couple of games. Is it a back injury?
Ruben Amorim on team news: “I don't know how Mase [Mount] is going to be for that game. I think Kobbie is not going to be ready. Bruno is not going to be ready. I think Matt [De Ligt] is not going to be ready. Maguire is not going to be ready. So, I think we are not going to have more players.”

Another “right player, wrong time” scenario. Largely played to empty Covid stadiums. He would have loved a full OT.

Work and other holiday obligations have kept me from watching the Villa and Newcastle matches. I have time today to rewatch one, I thinking Villa is the better option despite the result? I don’t think I want to see the full Newcastle match as it sounded pretty painful. Thoughts?
