doing another bump up on this, external events have left me ... still dragging myself through broken glass.
finally got to where I'm a month out from being able to GTFO of the USA.

Things gonna be bumpy and a down to the wire given the scope of the whole "poverty gal moving life across continents to evade looming fascism" thing; any assistance would induce much love.

Our weird spiritual scifi tactics game hit at a weird time in the market and, despite having a fully custom 30 hour strategy game campaign, still largely seems to have flown under the radar.

We poured ourselves into this game and I still think it rips.

I'm participating in call to boycott of Microsoft and will not be reviewing Doom: The Dark Ages or any future Xbox title while Microsoft continues to provide technology to the Israeli military and retaliate against its own employees for protesting its actions. bdsmovement.net/microsoft

Microsoft is perhaps the most complicit tech company in Israel’s illegal apartheid regime and ongoing genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.

i spent most of my december putting this together. it's a massive collaborative effort, and it features some of the best writing i've seen all year. a great encapsulation not only of 2024, but everything around it, past and future. 102 writers who, despite everything, are still here.
Following the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 roundups, writers deconstruct the year with short stories.

This was 2024, told by 102 people.

It's time: devin's GOTY 2024!
But first: BEST OLD GAME

PHANTOM LIBERTY
2023 was the year I got way into Cyberpunk. By January, I had cleared every single side gig or whatever, and embarked upon Phantom Liberty.

I consider the PL ending to be Cyberpunk's true denouement: everything you knew, gone.

I’m crowdfunding it now—please back & share!
