This presser should become the Trump administration's "47 percent" moment. They do not, will not, accept those not like themselves, including those who choose to dress, speak, hell chew differently.
Sean Duffy: "Dressing with respect -- whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a little better which encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let's try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport."

The truly wild thing is this isn’t even true, a shit-ton of their oil reserves on paper are heavy tar sands and every US oil company will take one look at that at $80/bbl and walk away because it isn’t close to economically viable.

One thing that is not getting enough attention is that Trump has normalized the idea of the United States supporting the transfer of territory and millions of people from a democracy to a dictatorship.
The ending of freedom for millions is now the official US position.

Got curious about whether @secscottbessent.govpeeps.us was lying or not. Unsurprisingly, it appears he is. Take a look at this map, produced by Senate Republicants. Scanning over "blue" and "red" states, it looks like blue state inflation is lower, not higher. www.jec.senate.gov/public/index...
Bessent: "You know the best way to bring your inflation rate down? Move from a blue state to a red state. Blue state inflation is half a percent higher."

For over 300 years now, it is a bedrock principle in Anglo-American constitutionalism that obedience is owed according only to law. Refusal to follow an illegal command is not only a moral choice but an absolute duty.

The darkness of what Trump is trying to do in Ukraine is almost impossible to explain, but all the other Putin stooges get it!
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that his government supports the "peace plan" for Ukraine proposed by President Trump.

According to him, the document is "bombastic,"&if adopted,Russia would "emerge as a complete winner - morally and economically strengthened."

Whaddaya know! Society matters in "who we are," what we do. It's not all biology after all. My colleagues in psychology and biology have long argued that "social" traits are actually psycho/biological. And we are biological beings. But not in the determinative way some would have us believe.
So there you have it, twin study estimates were greatly inflated, and molecular data sets the record straight. I walk through possible counter-arguments, but ultimately the uncomfortable truth is that genes contribute to traits much less than we always thought.

Trump gets: $5 billion in crypto deals, a $400 million plane, a $300 million ballroom, millions in deals from Facebook, Amazon, CBS.

Everyone else gets: higher prices for health care, electricity, and groceries.

Corruption, plain and simple.

This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

In fact, "the scene [was] quiet," and then "almost immediately and without warning, agents lob flashbang grenades, tear gas, and pepper balls, stating 'fuck yea!' as they do so."
