This is a great example of someone to not listen to. Never sign up for a protest, don't photograph or record your (or anyone's!) face, don't share that you were present, and do your best to hide your identity. A protest is a show of force, not a marketing opportunity for your personal brand!
The “don’t sign up for protests” thing is just an outgrowth of the Online tendency to one-up other people on how much you care. Oh, they’re protesting and signing people up for it? I’ll show them by claiming that’s wrong and you can care more by not signing up.

Every week, RIJBGC and our friends go out downtown in Providence to distribute survival and comfort supplies to our unhoused siblings. We are running low on some supplies (especially socks and body wipes), and would appreciate help stocking up for winter (hats, gloves, blankets) if you can!
