Well. There's a thing.
NEW: Keir Starmer has admitted that he knew Peter Mandelson had carried on a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein after his paedophilia conviction when he made him US ambassador

The admission came as Starmer confirmed a criminal investigation is taking place at Prime Minister's Questions

What started as plumbers looking for and fixing a leak has spiralled out of control, and is now them redoing ALL pipework in the house, and will lead to two rooms being remodelled since they look like they've been attacked by the world's most terrifying woodpecker.

Fuck racism and all the hate about Lupita's casting, of course. With that said, below is an excellent idea. Makes me think a Mel Brooks or Airplane style spoof of The Odyssey with Jason Mantzoukas would be amazing (no script – just let him improv everything)

We have some plumbers working here this week that were clearly sent by the cenobites. They're hacking into the walls with powertools to get to all the pipes, and it really is genuine euphoric bliss when they stop.

Second test also came back negative. So put humidifier on my work desk all day, and allergy symptoms, itchiness and nasal drip, finally stopped. It's the hot, dry air from heater running constantly in -5 degree weather. I used to get awful sinus infections in winter until I figured this issue out
Took the 3-in-one test, since I've had the allergy symptoms for a few days now, and all came back negative. 🤷‍♀️

I'm seeing a few reports of similar bugs that "don't show up for anything we test for" even in a PCR this year, tho, so who knows. I'll test again tomorrow, like a responsible person
Been wondering "allergies or COVID?" last few days. I last left house on Friday, so timing could work. But I think I'm actually allergic to the wonderful citrus face cream I got from Trader Joe's the same day. It's all sneezing and itchy, watery eyes. Heat pump running full blast doesn't help

We've got more snow here, so the lovely forest scenes are back again for a while.

Chilli doesn't care about the snow as much as I do, and is mostly just confused (offended?) at having to stand still for more than a few seconds while I take photos.

Kids like these need encouraging. This also sounds like the sort of thing I'd expect to see on Doctor Who.

I clearly need to up my game, though, as any ideas I have are barely mediocre in comparison.

Before moving to the countryside, I could never have imagined how cathartic chopping logs with an axe was. I can highly recommend it (safely).

As a bonus, I also figured out how where in the plot to start the new story that I definitely shouldn't be writing yet.

Whether you draw, or paint, or compose, or mix - whatever form of art you choose to create, make it exist. Bring it to life. Create it in a tangible form that can be enjoyed.

It need not be perfect. It might need work. It might serve as practice. It might even remain unfinished.

Just create. 😁

Transphobia is a cancer of the heart and mind.

It is a useless fear, based on ignorance and cruelty.

Trans people are not responsible for a single one of the problems we face.

Do the world a favor and grow the fuck up.

I keep thinking about the Munich Agreement lately, for obvious reasons. I just can't tell if it's 2.0 version relates to Donbas, even more of Ukraine, or anything related to Greenland.

I only know that if a new Agreement is made, in the long run, it'll be as meaningful as the last one.

I'm a little sick of political speeches being grandiose statements, empty nothings, and general placating. Carney's and Zelenskyy's were both a refreshing boot up the arse. More of that please!

Fingers crossed some leaders take it to heart and actually DO something that matters – and soon.

Yup.

And most of the things I was planning to do this month appear to have taken a different slide...

Getting a blood test before Xmas, my dad specifically asked the doc to run a PSA test. He'd seen on the news it was recommended for guys his age. He's now being treated for early-stage prostate cancer, with a best-case scenario of beating it.

Get yourself checked.
