in which I go to look up the credentials of an older woman I met recently and discover she's a solid year younger than me
I am now the age where I forget what age I am, much less what age I look. It's hard to spot peers when you are wafting about in a haze of been-here-awhile-but-not-elderly-yet

An estimated one in 36 people in the US are on the spectrum and may have noise sensitivity that makes it hard for thrm yo function when a home fire alarm goes off.
The loud noise literally makes it harder to save oneself from the fire.

As the director of a foundation myself, I heartily agree with this message. Foundations shouldn't exist for more than 5 years each (enough time to figure out what to do with lump sums of money)
