my jazz themed 2026 bingo card
So I did, actually, have that one on my bingo card

Definitely going to write an article almost exclusively because I had this idea of how to visualize gravity and want to emphasize JJJ's fit

I get that initial reaction but at some point to get good players you have to give up good picks, and you don't want to be depending on a potential pick 5 years down the road, not knowing what the Suns will look like. You'd rather already be competing and having built up a good team.
I REALLY like the trade overall. But I do wish they could have kept that 2031 Phoenix pick.

From 2023

Utah Jazz zone defense during 4th Q run vs Knicks:
1.
Kessler stops
Hendricks sweeps
2.
Hendricks stops
Kessler sweeps
3.
Kessler stops
Hendricks sweeps
4.
Kessler stops
Hendricks sweeps
then
Hendricks stops
Kessler sweeps

Nobody's ever beat when the other's there.

This but with a DPOY

Jaren Jackson is basically a way better version of what they hoped they could revive John Collins into. Offensively.

And then there's the defensive stuff.

i know yall love him but replace Ace with Peterson and we're cooking
Can the Jazz's new-look core make some noise in the West next season?

JJJ is only 26!!
February 3, 2026 at 7:29 PM
You're kidding yourself if you think we're not competing for a play-in spot if we had a healthy Kessler RIGHT NOW. Add in JJJ, and we'll inevitably add one more guy whether now or in the offseason. This will be a 4-5 seed next year.
So with a healthy Kessler next season, we’re fighting for a play-in spot? This was not the move. Hopefully something else happens but I don’t like the direction they’re taking.
February 3, 2026 at 7:25 PM
So here’s a ton of thoughts:

We aren’t done, whether now or in the offseason. We’ll trade for another guy. We wouldn’t give up our own first round pick next year if we weren’t. And we still have a bunch of cap space to bring someone in.
February 3, 2026 at 7:21 PM
please do it cleveland. 39 year old james harden taking up 25% of your cap in 2029 would be one of the greatest things to ever happen to the Jazz
Shams Charania: "James Harden wants to be with a team that offers long-term security beyond this season—something that was not guaranteed in Los Angeles. For Cleveland to acquire Harden at the deadline, an extension this summer would likely be necessary."

when do we start saying milan momcilovic is having the greatest college shooting season ever?

what about working better during their lifetime because they're well educated
They want us working earlier and til we die to pay for their tax cuts for the rich. Supervillains.

Huge respect to Georgia Fort for continuing to report what was happening and why it was unconstitutional while the Feds were literally at her door.
Minnesota based Independent Journalist GEORGIA FORT has been arrested for filming a protest of the church pastor that works as an ICE manager. SPREAD THE WORD! Georgia has been doing outstanding reporting from ground zero!

tbh I feel really really good about this entire thread
Final thoughts on most important guys.
Cooper Flagg:
He's on the Zion-tier of number one picks. Absolutely phenomenal. The switchiness is going to be dangerous. Offensive game is further along than I thought it would be. Probably becomes a top 15 guy.

more dunks on pedophile-adjacent congressmen please
January 26, 1985: Larry Nance of Phoenix with a two-hand slam on Tom McMillen.

Nance had 21 PTS/10 REB/2 BLK but the Suns fell to the Bullets in overtime, 110-105. McMillen led all scorers with 37 PTS, Jeff Malone scored 27 PTS, and Gus Williams had 15 PTS/16 AST for Washington.

At the same age as Donovan Mitchell is now, Deron Williams had had his final season averaging more than 15 points per game

The thing about CBS is that all of the "it's floundering" stuff is just plain wrong. By capitulating to the framing of the gov and repeating propaganda, they get benefits to content where they wouldn't have if they were apolitical. Why would it be anything else? It's obviously a backdoor deal
