The reason they have to keep making Wizard of Oz prequels is if they went *forward* then they'd have to let people know about Ozma, and Hollywood will not, absolutely will *not*, ever allow that to happen

This is why the WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ anime from the 80s was so great...they actually adapted OZMA OF OZ and some of the books beyond that!
(This was also adapted into English by HBO, and dubbed in Canada! The theme song is a banger!)

Hard agree. I guess there's enough interest in the topic that every time there's a new game or DLC there's a new crop of "here's what this means for the Zelda timeline" but a consistent, MCU-style continuity is just not what those games are doing or how the creators relate them to one another.

I agree...

Evidently, huge swath of fans never learned what the Downfall Timeline was or the huge implications of how it affected what Zelda canon is.
And it's rather frustrating because the Downfall Timeline was known to be a problem, known to break the rules back in 2012.

This crusade is very much necessary as there is a lot of absurd claims and criticism about stories that aren't released yet as well as a lot of misinformation that westerners believe in. The Zelda community alongside the Metroid community are two of the worst Nintendo fandoms out there.

The Gump. Or at least, the stuffed head of a Gump brought to life by lifepowder. The book described the Gump to be elk-like, though Return to Oz famously depicted it as a green moose head. I decided to make the Gump look like a hybrid of the two.
