ICE agents need. to. show. their. faces.
If not, they are NOT the strong he-men they pretend to be. They are nothing but mask-wearing peacocks preening for someone who colors himself orange, & his orange koolaid drinking base.
Minnesotans are courageous; ICE are COWARDS!

It is vitally important that Democrats (and the media) frame this properly. If the government gets shutdown it is because the GOP insists on DHS, ICE and CBP continuing to occupy American cities and trample the rights of US citizens.
EISEN: Don't you think Democrats are tapping into something in the mood of the country when it comes to the funding of ICE?

BESSENT: President Trump has brought down the temperature on the situation. He is urging them not to shut down the government.

David Jolly is on fire, and bringing it in his campaign for Governor in Florida.

SNL...calling SNL....we need a cold open with President Miller at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, OR the 🍊🤡 at the Desk repeating everything Prez Miller whispers in his ear.
Mr ThinSkin won't be able to handle it.
I think the way to get rid of Miller is for Trump to find out that everyone thinks that Miller is the real president. No way Trump can handle that ego blow.
And it’s pretty clear that someone, or more than one, inside the White House is no longer working with him

Homan sucks. But the victory here is the piercing of the veil of unaccountability. Trump's lost the support of the American public on this issue, and Homan's not going to get it back. I'm cautiously looking at this as a chance to be rid of Homan too in the not-too-distant future.

People of Maine, how can the rest of the country help you stand up the way MN successfully did?
ICE is changing tactics in Maine: "Now, the volunteers in Maine say federal agents have started showing up at their homes and intimidating them or threatening arrest. Some of them, masked and wearing tactical gear, have issued stark warnings not to follow them." www.pressherald.com/2026/01/23/i...

Putting aside the fact a billboard, by definition, isn’t something a person carries to a protest (or otherwise), and noting Alex Pretti wasn’t participating in one, I’d like to hear more about the protests to which Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says he has been.
KARL: He was an ICU use who worked for the VA and there's no evidence he brandished the gun whatsoever

BESSENT: But he brought a gun

KARL: I mean, we do have a Second Amendment

BESSENT: I've been to a protest -- guess what? I didn't bring a gun. I brought a billboard

"Alternate facts" are lies. A "Unitary Executive" is a dictator. Jan 6 was a dress-rehearsal insurrection. Trump is not a well man, declining before our eyes.

The truth will set us free only if we seek it, confirm it, insist upon it, and share it widely.

Whenever people fret about this mook becoming a post Trump juggernaut I remember that he's not just unlikeable but an extremely inexperienced pol. Only someone who first got into elected office in 2023 would be idiotic enough to liken the US economy to the Titanic.

Trump @ Davos reminded me of Greg Bovino strutting around in his trench coat w/ his personal Praetorian Guard, pretending to be a big He-man.
Mark Carney, otoh, calmly gave a strong speech, one that NEEDED to be made. Carney was the actual MAN of the Moment.

Leavett s answer was an interesting concept in 6th grade on why Iceland had little ice, and Greenland had little green land.

But Trump (and Leavett) are not in 6th grade anymore.

If you can't think and act like adults, go back to grade school.
Trump 3 separate times in his rambling speech today: The stock market went down because of Iceland.

Karoline Leavitt: Dear Leader did not make a mistake because Greenland is a land with a lot of ice and that’s what he was saying.

Anytime you propose a matter of public policy going forward, you should ask yourself "what would Donald Trump do if he had this sort of power at his disposal?" and act accordingly. You're literally proposing the precedent that would be used for your own eventual disenfranchisement.

It's important that MAGA see him like this.

It's going to help break that spell... When you witness it personally, you can't live in denial of it for much longer.

But Trump is beside the point. He's now expendable.

We have to go after the people behind Project 2025 now. They have to be stopped.

No one can be watching this Davos speech and reach any conclusion but that the President of the United States is mentally disturbed and that something is deeply wrong with him. This is both embarrassing and extremely dangerous.

I think Carney’s speech marks a turning point in how the world will treat Donald.

The era of trying to flatter him is over. The world is exhausted by being held hostage to Trump’s volatile egomania.

We’ll see more forceful pushback now.

What an embarrassment for the US.

Watching Trump's Davos speech right now.
I think someone loaded the wrong speech into the teleprompter. It appears to be the State of the Union speech.

His sister said this...in The First Reign of Terror.
WAKE. UP. AMERICA!!!!!
He’s intellectually lazy, like he thinks knowledge is beneath him. Can you imagine having that kind of access to education and then deciding not to be bothered? It’s not like he didn’t have access to someone who could explain the laws to him.

Something important (and difficult) to remember in these trying times:
*

Maintaining composure

when faced with political insults

requires recognizing that such attacks

are rarely about you personally,

but rather reflections of the speaker's

own psychological landscape—

frequently described as projection.

I hope Bill Cassidy truly feels the deaths of Americans he caused by unleashing RFK jr on America....all because he bowed down before Trump in order to get T's endorsement for another Sen run. Cassidy should have known by now that T would stab him in the back.
