What a great day in Miami! Just a few moments from a fantastic day talking with Floridians about how we move our state forward, what folks want from their Governor, and the many things that bring us together. More to come tomorrow, the next day, and every day while we work to flip Florida.

Great to be in Titusville with new friends, Ms. Nancy and Ms. Evelyn, discussing the legacy of Harry T. Moore and their witness to Black History in Florida.

Orange County FL has detained over 3,500 ICE inmates since signing its 287(g) Agreement with the Trump Administration. Expanding detention facilities in Orlando won't make the community safer, just more fearful. It was wrong then, and it's wrong now.

Democrats fear ICE could open a detention facility in Orlando
'Let me be clear. We oppose any effort to place an ICE facility here and will fight it at every turn.'

James Fishback is emerging as a formidable Republican candidate, but his undisguised racist comments are deliberate, offensive, and beneath this state. I'm asking all candidates running for FL Governor to join me in condemning his statements. Let's all commit to a better vision for Florida.

This agency is out of control if leadership is no longer checking violations of constitutional rights. Congress absolutely must step in before more people are kidnapped/killed.
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

America now faces a crossroad after the President's decision to go into Venezuela.

I support the apprehension of Maduro. He was a drug pushing dictator without a legitimate claim to the presidency. 1/

We’ve got big problems that need big solutions, like affordable health care & housing. It doesn’t matter if those solutions are from the right, left, or middle. People just want a government that addresses their problems.

I joined @ms.now to share my thoughts on how we can approach these problems.

A powerful and alarming piece by @peterbakernyt.bsky.social.

"Nearly 250 years after American colonists threw off their king, this is arguably the closest the country has come during a time of general peace to the centralized authority of a monarch."

The affordability crisis is about access, whether it’s housing, health care, utilities, and everything else in between.

But it’s about anxiety too. People feel a real sense of fear and anger about their futures.

Time for new leadership. Be a part of our campaign.
