The image is piercing. The faith leader seems to look directly at me, as if saying, “I’m doing this on your behalf,” while also inviting me: “Join me in this struggle.”

My answer: "I'm saddled up and riding!" @indivisiblennv.bsky.social @indivisiblelasvegas.org @50501nnv.bsky.social
What a photograph.

Elon Musk is making a mess all over Nevada. The governor's office let him off the hook for 800 environmental violations, and now we see this? The lesson is clear: don't let billionaires get a foothold with tax breaks. Thanks @fortune.com for this important journalism.

How to use your privilege in real solidarity with immigrants
Yesterday, when Bovino announced ICE would be returning to Little Village today, some of us donated and fundraised to buy out street vendors in the neighborhood. This morning, volunteers hit the streets at 6:30 am, looking for vendors to buy out. Tamales make an excellent breakfast.

This is tbe correct take.
Purple-state Dems have to cave from time to time because they don't have enough support from voters or, more importantly to them, donors. So they try to time these moments when they're going to have the least effect on them.
basically they were looking for the earliest moment they felt they could cave with the least electoral damage.

elections are over. so this is the time.
