ASCII would follow up this entry with two more titles on the Game Boy which were also Japan-only releases, adding to the unusual history of the Wizardry series at the time. A solid, portable quest filled with dungeon crawling danger that honored the iconic series it was based on!

There was also an option to "leave" a party in the dungeon and take another one in, switching between them. Players could even share characters via a Game Boy link cable with another friend allowing you to use that giga-powerful Samurai that they've been leveling for a little extra help.
