“In the Indigenous worldview, Country means a way of seeing the world. Everything is living. There is no separation between people and nature.” Alison Page, from ‘Design, Building on Country’.

We lost everything because we separated from nature.

Everything changed long ago, and a long time before that. Convenience chosen over connection. The more comfortable we got, the more arrogant we became. The superiority morphed into racism.
“You shall have dominion over all”. The detachment from nature became increasingly unnoticeable.
The arrogance continues to be clearly on display:
“More specifically, it has rational actors capable of understanding the problem and trying to fix it, even though they caused it in the first place.”

Foolish ignorance.

Collapse is not coming - it’s already here.

Four systems (climate, energy, food, and economy) are breaking down together, each amplifying the weaknesses of the others.

This is not a prediction - the #collapse of these systems is well underway, and already changing our lives. 1/10 #overshoot
