We have been using a platform that is banned in Russia to say that free speech is banned in the EU on the platform we banned.
Moscow's propaganda machine has been hard at work depicting Europe as a "digital gulag," hellbent on suppressing free speech online.

"Russian propaganda portrays any effort to combat disinformation as a threat to freedom of speech", says Jakub Kalensky, an expert on disinformation.

Yes, It’s Fascism
Until recently, I thought it a term best avoided. But now, the resemblances are too many and too strong to deny.

The pretense that protesters are being paid to protest is the same lie told by dictatorial regimes, including Iran, Russia, Venezuela, and Kyrgyzstan when faced with mass protests against oppression. Ironically, when the US supported democracy, it was usually accused of paying those seeking freedom.
Kristi Noem: "When we did these operations in other cities across the country, we didn't see this kind of violence. We didn't see organized, funded protesters come in to conduct acts of violence against our law enforcement officers like we're seeing in Minneapolis."

The internet blackout in Iran has stanched the flow of reliable information about the political unrest roiling the country. Filling the void has been a deluge of propaganda, disinformation and influence campaigns from countries or parties trying to shape the outcome of the conflict.
Battles Over Truth Rage Online Amid Iran’s Internet Blackout
The shutdown of online discourse within Iran has allowed both the government and its critics to flood social media outside the country with disinformation campaigns and fake images.

Basically, understand : "the US is lifting sanctions on Russia"
🇺🇸🇧🇾 The U.S. is lifting sanctions on Belarus, U.S. Special Envoy John Cole says, calling it a positive step toward normalizing U.S.-Belarus relations. Cole added that as ties improve, more sanctions may be eased. At a meeting with Lukashenko, Ukraine's "situation" was also discussed.

It's frustrating how Russia has built this entire myth of invincibility around itself. It lost the Crimean war, a war with Japan in 1905, the first world war, an invasion of Poland in 1920, and in Afghanistan. It won the second world war only with Allied logistical support.
