It’s outrageous that Sec. Kennedy is trying to fire the CDC Director — after only a few weeks on the job — for her commitment to public health & vaccines.

The Sen. HELP Committee must hold a hearing with Kennedy & the CDC Director as soon as possible.

Vaccines save lives. Period.

I wanted to wax poetic for a minute about Lysenkoism. I’m adding the rest of the thread below and then I’ll ~explain~
I truly cannot emphasize enough how this is straight up Lysenkoism.

Because of the incredible work of our nation’s scientists, we have our finger tips on the closest thing humanity has ever come to “a cure for cancer”, but brainworm over here doesn’t believe in it.

Good news about this weather data, for now. But why is this even a question whether to continue this important work?!?
The Pentagon reversed plans to cut off critical military satellite data used for hurricane forecasting.

The data, vital for tracking storm intensification, will keep flowing through Sept 2026 after experts warned losing it could delay life‑saving alerts.

NOAA will continue receiving weather data from Navy satellites after sudden reversal
After announcing it would lose access to key weather satellite data, NOAA will retain access, the agency said in a statement.

When Americans raised concerns about RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine views, he said he was "not gonna take away vaccines from anybody."

But now he's taking them away from millions of mommas and babies.

Vaccine recommendations should be based on science, not RFK Jr.'s political agenda.

NSF is undergoing a massive shake-up: over 80 senior staff cut, remote work banned, the equity-in-STEM division eliminated, and hundreds of research grants scrapped.

This isn’t budget efficiency—it’s a direct attack on U.S. science, education, and equity.

We need the best teachers in the world.
