I understand there are barriers to being covid-safe and not everyone can avoid work, or school, or afford proper masks, etc. But I am genuinely so sick and fucking tired of the advocacy ending at covid. We have not as a society properly discussed the horror of 2020. We are still in a pandemic

This is going to come across as really pointed but I dont give a shit. I just saw multiple ppl I follow liking anti-masking posts. I've had loved ones die. Ppl like you who go around coughing open-mouthed baby style while indirectly killing disabled folks bc you dont want to mask up is despicable

Went to my local library this morning to do a bit of research for my current book project and my goodness such a life-affirming space! There was an adult being taught to read on the next table, children enjoying story time, countless people taking out books. So grateful for our libraries ❤️
