Old ginger. Just shocked that the reaction to pronouns needed to be fascism. Seems a bit much.

I think I’d rather be waterboarded than have to listen to Pam Bondi in another hearing. Her voice is still ringing in my ears. It’s like nails on a chalkboard. I think it could seriously cause psychological harm if you are overexposed to it.

When is her disbarment?
This is utterly deranged behavior from a U.S. attorney general

A reminder: The Attorney General of the United States should be the people's lawyer, not the president's personal attorney. The Department of Justice should act to protect the public, not the occupant of the Oval Office and his political allies.

Pam Bondi broke every rule of the lawyers ethical creed yesterday. I'm embarrassed she is a part of my profession.👇

Bondi is a vulgar version of the top U.S. law enforcement official.

A bad cartoon villain.
I honestly can’t remember any prior AG being this overtly disrespectful in a Congressional hearing.

They really think they’re never going to be in the minority.

Maybe I memory holed it, but personal attacks on members of Congress during testimony just seems so out of bounds.

James Comer spent years and millions of taxpayer dollars trying and failing to prove that there was a policy connection between Hunter’s appointment to the Burisma board in 2014 and his VP dad. But Comer won’t spend a day or a dollar investigating this.

NEW: As President Donald Trump and his closest allies continue demands for a federal “takeover” of elections, House Republicans are rushing to deliver this week, working on a pair of voter suppression measures. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
House Republicans further voter ID bills that would disenfranchise millions

Here is my conclusion after sitting through Maxwell's deposition with her refusing to answer a single question about the men who raped underage girls, saying she would only do so for clemency.

She must immediately be sent back to the maximum security prison where she belongs.

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

He obviously knows the jobs report this week is going to be terrible. But Haslett says not to worry because a tiny handful of people are concentrating more wealth than at any point in human history and we should all be happy for them. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Hassett: "There's a chance that job creation lags, productivity skyrockets, profits skyrocket, GDP skyrockets, but then all of the sudden you're making 20 widgets and you can make 20 widgets with fewer persons, and then that person has to find a new job. I think that kind of transition could happen"
