3 has flaws but I respect the boldness

Resurrection….Joss didn’t get it, the director didn’t get it, and the studio just wanted a sequel

Terrible mix

Ive been rewatching the Alien series. I really enjoyed 3 after thinking I didnt for a long time. I did confirm my hatred of Resurrection tho

This is a payday loan with the worst terms.

10% of revenue for 2 decades. Not 10% of the current rate until they pay back the $2.4b, 10% off the top each year, so when they get that 2030-31 renewal and the deal goes up, that's more cash out the door the league's members arent seeing.

USC doesnt even really care about dealing with P.E. the financial terms arent acceptable to them.

Michigan apparently is the only one caring about dealing with P.E. period.
How are USC & Michigan the only Big Ten schools who realize that private equity is the absolute worst possible thing for college sports? Or any sport? Or any company, period?
AD: USC wants long-term benefits of equity deal
USC athletic director Jen Cohen addressed the school's stance on the pending Big Ten private capital deal on Friday, saying University leadership is focused on the long-term benefits.

In doing so, Stitt accepted the recommendation of the Pardon and Parole Board. This is Stitt’s second death-sentence commutation as governor.

The TNT broadcasts blow away what ESPN having been doing for all non-Bama/Clemson/Texas/UGA games for the last decade.

It really feels like the focus stays on the GAME ON THE FUCKING SCREEN and the announcers are paying attention to it and actually know what they're seeing & calling.

Paired with yesterday's announcement about USA Sports, the P12 has got a pretty good deal here (assuming the pay is also good)

Calling CBS Sports Net a "Maximum-reach TV channel" is pretty hilarious though

It is good for leagues that TNT,CW,and USA Network* are airing college sports.

MWC is trying to put it's tv deal together still rn, CUSA in like a year. I do feel the "lesser" G5 leagues would benefit from trying to establish a niche outside of ESPN.

From yesterdays SMW story on USA Sports, it could end up there: "Versant has yet to unveil a direct-to-consumer streaming solution to distribute its broadcasts, but Hong earlier this year expressed interest in partnering with Peacock and potentially other third-party streamers."
