Indeed, what if all of these things are horrible and people are just telling you who they really are when they insist constitutional violations and trans erasure and the disintegration of the social safety net are just distractions from re-electing cowards?
What if none of these things is a distraction from the other things and instead they're all just horrible things

Their position seems considerably better now that your party has capitulated for "concepts of a plan"
Do I trust them? No. That’s why I voted no. But they are in a terrible position, and we can use the next few weeks to turn the pressure up even further.

Here's a photo of my friend and colleague, Jorge Bautista, getting shot in the face with a flashbang grenade. The ICE Agent is so afraid of Jorge (who was posing no threat) that he has wet himself. Please share this photo. Everyone needs to know what cowards ICE agents are.

Seriously. Consider this your regular reminder that universal healthcare is incredibly popular. It's not that hard to find people who support it and can set aside funds to remove their shameful ass Nazi tattoo. Folks scrambling for safety are not the problem.

Honestly this makes me feel much better. I was so close to donating given the public noises he made. In the absence of a party that does anything like reasonable vetting, I'm left with just waiting until all of the skeletons spill out of the closet.
Seriously, why are you insulting people's intelligence like this. There is very obviously a massive excluded middle between "bland Ivy League corporate automaton" and "still has large Nazi tattoo." There's nothing wrong with having found him appealing. He was! But it's over and this is silly

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera

In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.

My publisher’s been very patient. I’m not doing everything I said I’d do to promote this book (out in a few weeks) because I’m an organizer in a city under federal attack. My days are full and emotionally exhausting. Any help getting the word out means a lot. It's a book people need right now.

It’s important to flood social media and news channels with news about how ICE lies, so that potential jurors see it.
Body-camera video appears to contradict the government’s claim that Marimar Martinez, 30, drove toward officers before one of them opened fire at her late Saturday morning in Brighton Park, her attorney claimed.
