Americans don’t like the word “appeasement.”

It carries WWII resonance and instantly signals capitulation to an adversary.

Even among right-leaning voters, “being soft on Russia” is one of the few remaining red lines.

It will become a defining stain for this government, not a one-day scandal.👇

News so bad… they won’t even be honest about what it is.

This administration is driving our economy off a cliff and trying to hide it from Americans.

The #dwts judges are so obviously trying to rig this for Robert Irwin. Alix Earle was better in the head to head. By a lot. Irwin’s earlier dance was not worth all 10s. He’s a boring dancer who mugs for the camera, does something very weird with his neck while he dances, and breaks frame.

On Tuesday, Americans sent Democrats a resounding message.

“Fight for us”

“Fight for working class Americans”

“Fight against Trump’s corruption, criminality and cruelty”

5 days later, Democrat Senators sent Americans a resounding message.

“Nah”

Schumer (probably):
What could possibly stop our momentum after winning across the board on 11/4, the largest protest in US history, court victories, and the American public blaming the Republicans. Oh yah, me. Here we goooooo…

It’s like he’s trying to depress Dem donations and voter turnout.

We had all the momentum

•The American people were blaming Republicans

•A landslide Democratic victory

•Courts ordering Trump to fund SNAP benefits

Yet you couldn't convince your caucus to fight for us

It's the final straw that breaks the back of your tenure as leader, Senator

Time to step down
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Don’t you dare cave @schumer.senate.gov! Dems swept all races on 11/4. People widely blame Republicans as they should. If you don’t have to stomach to fight for the people, resign.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 94th day out of the last 106.

12 days of work in 106 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

It’s not even “papers please” anymore…

Now it’s “we’re kidnapping you because you’re brown and we don’t care that your documents are five feet away in your work locker”

This is illegal, immoral and cruel.

There were 13 elections last night for a statewide office.

Democrats swept all 13.

That’s 1 in NJ. 3 in VA. 2 in GA. And 7 in PA (all judges, retention and regular).

They won 12 of the 13 races by double-digits, with margins up to 24%. The only other race, the tightest, they won by 6%.

Now it's time for Democrats to build on the momentum and push Trump and his Congressional sycophants on the shutdown. Democrats must hold the line on ACA subsidies and ensure that government employees get paid for the time lost in the shutdown. It's the right thing to do, morally and politically.

Pay attention Corporations and Oligarchs. You miscalculated the American people. You bet on complacency and tied your fate to a fascist by throwing $ at him because you prioritize lining your own pockets over democracy, merit, & decency. Recalibrate now.

Democratic party leadership has been on autopilot for ten years, they weren't losing to fascism, fascism isn't popular enough for them to lose to fascism, they were allowing it to fill the void where their leadership should have been. Tonight we're seeing that we have other options. They should too.

@warren.senate.gov this issue is tailor made for you to lead the Dems on
Americans are falling behind on their bills at rates not seen in years. Credit card debt quietly crossed the $1 trillion mark in 2023. Buy Now Pay Later services are a rising threat. Nearly 1-in-5 Americans are in crushing medical debt.

This is an economic crisis.
