Just the biggest retailer in history admitting it wasted 15 years and millions of dollars because it didn’t understand basic consumer habits.
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

I’ve seen four different No Kings protests today in towns and cities around me in Rhode Island that never really have protests. This is a massive, massive movement and message.

a beautiful tribute to the worst day of anakin skywalker's life. if I'm ever, say, maimed in a car crash, I would hope that pop tarts does something similar for me like "frosted sam hit by car berry blast"

I can’t believe I’m watching interviews of city mayors talking about how they are coordinating with other mayors to discuss how to protect their residents FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

I know we are “used to it” but it is absolutely insane

A remarkable 1987 article about “Q5”, a consultancy that, i’ve now learned, seems singularly responsible for the mass bland-izing of cartoons when i was a kid. I remember the sudden and mysterious Jeanine swap-out in The Real Ghostbusters! this explains so much.

Perhaps the play they’re making is “Bondi says there’s no list” then Trump can fire her, and then the next AG says “there is no list” implying she destroyed it, and Trump once again escapes guilt and people move on because Trump could neeeever be guilty. What a scheme.

Mayor Brandon Scott has reduced crime in Baltimore by 62%, and now has the lowest homicide rate in Baltimore history.

How did he do it?

NOT be spending more on police. He did it by MAJOR investment in afterschool and literacy programs.
