I've just skimmed this and wonder how those old ". . . thirsty steel and chemical works . . ." will compare with the easily overheated AI centres. It seems Trump may be deregulating the fossil fuel industry to accommodate the energy AI needs . . . and then they'll drain the reservoirs for coolant 🤬
