AI data centers aren't just raising people's energy bills, they're devastating the environment & eroding grid reliability.

Fast-tracking data centers only benefits the big corporations funding them.

State & local leaders must continue to oppose these builds.

Trumpism Alberta style. Support Press Progress!!
Hi Bluesky 👋

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Since i finished writing this essay, one pedestrian was hit and killed by a driver in downtown Calgary.

Speed wasn’t deemed a factor.
As drivers seem increasingly unable to pay attention to the road, should speed limits be lowered?

For me, a reluctant driver, lower speed limits seem like a fair trade off to protect the physical integrity of our fellow humans.

Should Calgary lower speed limits?

Nicolaides must resign
Demetrios Nicolaides stood by while the UCP silenced teachers. Now he’s forcing them back to overcrowded classrooms with no support, no solutions, and no respect.

He’s failed teachers, students, and families.
It’s time for him to resign.
